Bird of Paradise - White (Strelitzia Nicolai)

The White Bird of Paradise, also called Giant Bird, is one of the most popular garden shrubs with the exotic flowers resembling the shape and form of the actual Bird of Paradise living in the tropical jungle resulting in the plant’s name. The large blossoms can measure 10-12 inches in height and length and are known for attracting hummingbirds and bees. The plant is a naturally shaped shrub with leaves resembling bananas. This plant prefers sunlight requiring at least 4 hours per day and can grow to approximately 10-20 feet. It is non-invasive with few to no pests or diseases.
