Chinese Fan Palm (Livistonia chinensis)

The Chinese Fan Palm is a beautiful slow-growing palm with a single brown trunk and large bright green fan-shaped leaves that droop downward gracefully. The palm is usually 15 to 25 feet but may grow to 30 feet over time and does well in sun and shade. The palm is very hardy and able to withstand several degrees below freezing without damage and is able to tolerant poor soils when regularly fertilized.
